Junior Amy Watson won a pair of events and a slew of underclassmen turned in terrific efforts in their collegiate debuts as the women's track and field team topped the five-team field in the season-opening and inaugural meet at the Wesley A. Brown Field House.

Women's Basketball Starts Busy Road Stretch
Navy begins a stretch of four straight games on the road this week with contests Wednesday at UMBC and Friday at Penn. Wednesday's game is slated to tip at 4:30 p.m., while the Navy-Penn game will start at 3 p.m.

Pollsters have noticed the Navy men's basketball red-hot start this year as the Mids earned votes in both the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Poll and the Associated Press Top 25 poll released on Monday. Navy is off to its best start in almost 10 years at 5-1 and will host a strong Texas-San Antonio team tonight at Alumni Hall.
