Irene Schickhardt scored her team-leading eighth goal of the season, but it was not enough, as the No. 20 American University field hockey team fell to No. 2 Syracuse by a 3-1 score on Sunday at J.S. Coyne Stadium. The game marked the sixth time this season that the Eagles played a team ranked in the top-20 in the country.
