Patriot League Announces Women's Basketball Academic Honor Roll
Forty-five student-athletes were placed on the 2008 Patriot League Women's Basketball Academic Honor Roll, announced Executive Director Carolyn Schlie Femovich Monday. Bucknell's Joyce Novacek stood out on this year's list as the only student-athlete to obtain a 4.0 grade-point average during the spring semester.

Patriot League Announces Women's Basketball Tournament Sites For 2009 and 2010
Patriot League Executive Director Carolyn Schlie Femovich announced Wednesday the sites of the 2009 and 2010 Patriot League Women's Basketball Tournament. The women's tourney will be held at Lehigh University's Stabler Arena in Bethlehem, Pa. in 2009. The following year Holy Cross' Hart Center in Worcester, Mass. will be the site of the tournament.

American Names Matt Corkery As New Head Women's Basketball Coach
American University named Matt Corkery as its new head women's basketball coach, Director of Athletics and Recreation Keith Gill announced today. Corkery, who was the AU associate head coach last season, has been on the Eagles staff for four seasons.

Stefanie Pemper Named Head Women's Basketball Coach at the Naval Academy
Naval Academy Director of Athletics Chet Gladchuk announced Wednesday that Stefanie Pemper, the fourth all-time winningest coach in Division III history, has been named the head women's basketball coach at the Naval Academy. Pemper compiled an incredible 235-48 (.830) record in 10 seasons at Bowdoin and led the program to nine NCAA Tournament appearances, including five Elite Eight appearances and an appearance in the NCAA championship game in 2004.
