Navy's Watson Qualifies for NCAA Cross Country Championship
Navy's Amy Watson advanced to the NCAA Cross Country Championship, while four Patriot League runners made All-Region teams after competing in two NCAA Regional Meets last weekend. Patriot League Individual Champion Jonathan Anderson of Army earned All-Region honors after running in the Northeast Regional at Van Cortlandt Park, N.Y., while Navy's Andrew Hanko and Lehigh's Jon Wetzel earned All-Region honors in the Mid-Atlantic Regional, held in Princeton, N.J. Watson also earned All-Region honors in the Mid-Atlantic Regional.

Patriot League Cross Country Teams to Compete at NCAA Regionals
Patriot League men's and women's cross country teams and individuals will have their chance to qualify for the NCAA Championship on Saturday, as all eight schools compete in one of of the NCAA Regional qualifying races. American, Bucknell, Lafayette, Lehigh and Navy have the opportunity to compete at the Mid-Atlantic Regional in Princeton, N.J., while Army, Colgate and Holy Cross will compete at the Northeast Regional at Van Cortlandt Park in Bronx, N.Y.

Army and Navy Men, Navy Women Claim 2008 Patriot League Cross Country Championships
The Patriot League Cross Country Championship kicked off the League's 2008-09 docket on Saturday at the Lehigh University Cross Country Course, with Army and Navy sharing the title in the men's meet and Navy capturing its second consecutive crown in the women's race. Army senior Jon Anderson was named the Patriot League Outstanding Runner of the Meet in the men's race with his first-place time of 24:19.4 in the 8k race. Navy junior Amy Watson earned Patriot League Outstanding Runner of the Meet honors with her first-place time of 21:23.5 in the women's 6k.
